FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, 10 March 2021, no. 20-01034
Date of the decision: 2021-03-10
The Player Kayode Olarenwaju Ayobami, of Nigerian nationality, sent a claim to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) against his present club FC Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) for non-payment of two monthly salaries. However, FC Shakhtar Donetsk rejected any debts owed to the Player.

According to the facts of this case, the Player was registered on loan with Gaziantep FK for the 2019-2020 season, until 31 May 2020. Therefore, the latter was responsible for paying the Player’s salary until the end of the loan period.
