On 3 March 2017, the Executive Committee Bureau of the Football Union of Russia (FUR) issued a decision by means of which it introduced another set of changes to the FUR Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (FUR RSTP) and the Dispute Resolution Regulations.

The FUR RSTP was just slightly amended.

First of all, it was stipulated that a player that reacquired amateur status cannot partake in professional competitions within the next 30 months, even if respective regulations allow amateurs to be included in the players’...
