The case
Born on 15 May 1983 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, the footballer Jean-Paul Yontcha has a truly international career, having played in the Nigerian, Algerian, Qatarian, Romanian, Albanian and Portuguese championships.
In Portugal, he participated in more than 75 official matches, representing CF Os Belenenses, SC Olhanense, Farense and UD Leiria.
On 1 February 2013, during a training session in the service of his club (SC Olhanense), he suffered a serious injury to the meniscus of his right knee.
Due to this injury, the player underwent a surgical intervention on 14 February 2013 and after numerous physiotherapy sessions, he was discharged by the physicians who attended him on 15 May 2013. The doctors considered that the athlete recovered...
